The NASEO-NARUC Training for States on Integrated Distribution System Planning 2.0: Planning for Electrification and Distributed Energy Resources will take place March 11-12, 2025, in Detroit, Michigan. This training will include an optional site visit on the morning of March 13. Details forthcoming.

The National Association of State Energy Officials (NASEO), National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC), and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory invite State Energy Offices, public utility commissions, and utility consumer advocates to participate in the second of three regional trainings on integrated distribution system planning. The content of the three trainings will be similar, and state participants are welcome to attend any one of them.

The training includes technical courses, peer-sharing, and office hours with trainers, covering all new topics with a focus on planning for load growth and local resources and incorporating state action planning throughout the two days (please find the draft agenda here).
